Day One: Sheffield to Birmingham

day one feels like a bit of a flat beginning to be honest - more of a limp out of the starting gate than a speeding bullet. perhaps it was the fact that i woke up in sheffield and was on the bus all day to birmingham. perhaps catching up on the travel section and reading the review sections of the weekend papers just doesn't quite feel like the grand leap into the "better person" domain that i wanted.

however, it's a start. and adventures and goodness have a way on creeping up on you.

anyway, i did make the postcard myself...
