so i was hanging out in the park in brooklyn, portland. kids were playing ball, hippies were throwing juggles, cats were scoping out the scene. i have photos to prove it all. but i also overheard one of the best conversations b/w two 10 year old kids..
boy: "i ain't a girl, you're a girl"
girl: "i don't think it matters what i am"
boy: "you ain't anything"
girl: "as long as i'm doing cool stuff, it don't matter"
boy: "let's jump in the puddle. i don't care who you are"
am i discovering the joy of life too late?

I think so too -- this is why people need to quit telling others "grow up!" Ain't so fun, is it? Haha, that was funny though. I do wonder if kids just spurt out words without thinking about it...
