ah, my beloved amy was waiting for me outside her apartment as i arrived from seattle last night. the perfect welcome to nyc, and the lower east side, which i'm calling home for the next week. love it. and so good to be with dear amy again. we wandered north of houston (god forbid!) to a delicious italian enoteca, ate stuffed olives, artichokes and "arugula" and drank a delicious wine from puglia...oh new york and italy, i love you!
so far today i feel like i've advanced more of the hot chip tour than i have in the last week. i am feeling good about it, i think it is being in the place the tour starts, and the confidence amy has in me...
seattle was great. i caught up with mark from peaches, and my friend dylan's wife. i have to say, the tour with dean & britta was awesome. too darn short for me. pete, anthony and i toasted each other with delicious washington state beer and makers mark.
