GOOD LUCK AUNTY MEREDITH!!

HEY YOU CRAZY KIDS...Just wanted to wish you all ute-loads of fun at the awesome meredith music festival this weekend (www.mmf.com.au)...damn, what i wouldn't give for unpredictable weather, sleeping on the soggy ground, 35 degrees (celcius please!) and torrential rain, not to mention The Avalanches DJ Show, Billy Childish and The Buff Medways, Blackalicious, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Sons and Daughters, The Kills, Airbourne, J-Live, Cut Copy, Peeping Tom, The Mess Hall, Okkervil River, King Marong and Safara, Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks, The Grates, Clare Bowditch and The Feeding Set, The Nextmen, Johnny Idem, Legends of Motorsport, Matt Walker and Ash Davies, Wolfmother, City City City, Hoodangers, Young Professionals, True Live, Bollywood Spectacular, Architecture In Helsinki, British India, MC Greg Fleet, The?Meredith?Mystery?Act and the mighty You Am I. This year’s soundtrack will be provided by DJ streetparty. And The Town Bikes are Special Guest Mistresses.

argh ms lady adventurer... it was bloody awesome!i drank way too much! got a good dose of aussie sunshine (and i was so trying to maintain my english moontan;); saw some pretty good acts - okkervil river, bob log III (the mysterio act - give me a boob scotch baby!)to name a few. has to be said the folk behind the merch did a grand job, so much (too much - i wasn't sure to go for a shirt, scarf or tracktop - in the end nothing... i ran out of money;) and the food, well it was corn on the cob and curry wraps. i've been to nine merdiths in my time, i wouldn't say content wise that this particular one stood out but i guess it was more about catching up with ol' friends and making new ones:) perhaps we'll see you there next year ms adventurer. x nat
