snowing in new york...la la la la....
flew in yesterday afternoon from tampa. florida. is. weird. travelling in a group of 17 people is far from relaxed & never far from stressful. especially with sometimes surly jamaicans (it's cultural apparently...) & people who insist that they won't fly if they don't have an aisle seat. on a 2 hour flight. guitars in softcases...that have to be checked...because they can't be carried on...two words: hard. cases.

anyways...i woke up to snow in new york. that picture is the view from my room in our oh-so groovy hotel (w court, 39th & lexington). last night i relaxed in my room & fell asleep before midnight. crazy times. i think the "shopping for sinead's birthday" expedition wore me out...running around in zero degrees trying to find a suitable present from the crew to our boss...ended up with excellent green silk pj's, godiva chocolates & some crazy gift wrap courtesy of rosa from lords & taylors.
took some pictures of the tree at the rockefeller centre as well.

today is our big new york city show. burning spear is going to be performing with sinead...and patti smith is on the guest list. i am psyched. don't really feel like selling & folding t-shirts though.
