We arrived about 5 minutes before the show started, to gentle, lulling waves of sound, and what looked like an enormous muslin curtain in front of stage, which when the band walked on was lit with white and red spots, their shadows looming up at us from all directions. The light show was mesmerising throughout ... two giant disco balls lit from the side of stage sent showers of stars dancing across the roof of the theatre.

but nothing was quite as entrancing as the band themselves. the music sent me in and out of hypnosis - rare is it for anyone to sit through a gig for almost 2 hours without speaking. Emily & i just kep grinning at each other. I was transported all over the place emotionally. It seemed the band had a few technical probs, but played a wonderful selection of new & old songs.
i can't write gig reviews. i just wanted to thank Amy & Rich (you did a great job and we loved the projection of those birds on the wire....) for the tickets, you guys rock.
