three years later

and i am back working as a "door bitch" at the beloved corner hotel. funny how the more things change, blah blah blah....good to be back amongst familiar peeps. and yay for free tickets to shows!

i am 8 days into a de-tox. last night i went out to three things, including a film festival free drinks schmoozefest, and still stayed sober. i am learning a lot about drunk people. not all good. but it is fun to pretend to be drunk and try to prise secrets from people.

being back in melbourne has been strange, but good. i can't beleive how young n groovy all the kids are. and how much i still love vietnamese food. and walking through the park to the corner. and how much i hate job hunting. and how fun it is to surprise people who had no idea you were back.

adventures of the lady should kick off again soon...due to coincide with the end of detox, and the start of my new job.
